Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website, account system, and checkout at iambeep.com (the “Site”) and the products offered through it, currently including PolyShield, bvpn, and Truth Seeker (collectively, the “Products”), operated by Hendrix Cole Odham (“we,” “us”).

By creating an account or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Site.

1. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You may sign in with an email/password or via GitHub or Google OAuth.

2. Subscriptions and Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly, unless otherwise stated) through our payment processor, Stripe.
  • Each Product's tier and any individually-purchased add-ons are shown at checkout before you pay.
  • Add-ons can be added or removed from an active subscription at any time; removing an add-on stops billing for it going forward but does not retroactively refund the current billing period.
  • Your subscription renews automatically each period until you cancel.
  • We do not control pricing changes retroactively — if we change prices, the new price applies at your next renewal, not to your current period.

3. Cancellation and Refunds

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time; you'll retain access through the end of your current paid period.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
  • If a payment is disputed (a chargeback) or a charge is refunded through Stripe, your access to the associated Product is suspended immediately, independent of whether you've stopped using it. This is an anti-abuse measure, not a punitive one — restore access by resolving the dispute or contacting us.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site or Products for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to circumvent billing, licensing, quota, or device limits on any Product.
  • Share account credentials or license keys with people outside your own organization, except where a Product's own terms explicitly allow it.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site's infrastructure, or attempt unauthorized access to any account other than your own.
  • Upload content that is illegal, infringing, or that you don't have the rights to use.

Violating this section may result in suspension or termination of your account without refund.

5. Product-Specific Terms

  • PolyShield, being downloadable software, is additionally governed by its own End User License Agreement — that document controls for anything specific to using the PolyShield software itself.

6. Intellectual Property

The Site, and the Products themselves (excluding your own content and data), are our property or licensed to us. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you, except as explicitly granted in a Product's own EULA.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR PRODUCTS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under the law that applies to you. If a limitation above is unenforceable in your jurisdiction, it applies only to the extent that jurisdiction's law permits, and the rest of this section still stands.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms, non-payment, or fraudulent/abusive activity. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the “Last updated” date above; continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pennsylvania.
