Refund Policy
DRAFT — pending attorney review. Prepared with engineering tooling, not by a lawyer. Items in [[OWNER: …]] or [[ATTORNEY: …]] brackets need a decision before this is relied on.

This policy applies to subscriptions bought at iambeep.com. It sits alongside our Terms of Service; if a law that applies to you gives you more than this page does, the law wins.
1. The short version
- You can cancel any time online, and you will not be billed again. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
- We do not refund the part of a billing period you have already paid for, or time you didn't use, except where the law or the cases below say otherwise.
- We do fix mistakes: if we charged you in error, charged twice, or charged after a cancellation took effect, we will refund it.
2. How to cancel
Sign in, open your Dashboard, and choose Cancel subscription. Cancelling is as easy as subscribing: no call, no email, no retention steps. Changing your mind before the period ends? Use Resume on the same page.
3. What we refund
- Billing mistakes — duplicate or incorrect charges, or a charge made after a cancellation took effect.
- Service failure — if you could not use a paid Product at all for a substantial part of a period because of a problem on our side that we did not fix, contact us within 30 days and we will make it right, including a partial refund.
- Where the law requires — see the sections below.
To ask, email odhamhendrix@gmail.com [[OWNER: confirm]] with the email on your account and the charge date. We reply within 5 business days [[OWNER: confirm you can meet this]]. Refunds go back to the original payment method and may take a few days to appear.
4. If you are in the EU, EEA or UK: your 14-day right to cancel
Consumers in these regions normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase without giving a reason. For digital content and services that begin right away, that right is lost only if you:
- expressly ask us to start immediately, and
- acknowledge that you will lose the right to withdraw once we begin (or, for a service, once it has been fully provided).
At checkout we ask for exactly that, with a required checkbox that is not pre-ticked, before any payment is taken, and we email you a confirmation of it afterwards. If you do not tick it, you cannot complete the purchase. If you withdraw within 14 days, and you have not yet used the service, we refund the full price; where you asked us to start immediately and then withdraw within the 14 days, we may deduct an amount proportionate to what you've already used. [[ATTORNEY: confirm this wording and the proportionate-deduction rule for each country you sell into, and whether your checkout flow is compliant.]]
5. Other places with special rules
Some US states and other countries give subscribers extra cancellation or refund rights, for example around automatic renewals. We apply the more generous rule where one applies to you. [[ATTORNEY: confirm automatic-renewal law compliance (e.g. California, and any state where you sell), including whether renewal-reminder emails are required.]]
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us before disputing a charge — we would rather fix it. A chargeback (or a refund issued through Stripe) suspends access to the related Product until it is settled, as described in the Terms.
